Brand IT Inc.

So I have been able to try and set up a quick logo this is only my first idea with the circle being a rugby ball. It has a little work go to, but it is an idea. What do you guys think?? I also have three other sketches, but coming from a graphic design background it is harder than it looks trying to get an established logo. You have to remember black and white spacing and certain color schemes that help put the logo together. It is hard to explain, but just plain and simple it is hard. I hope this looks professional because I believe pretty good for a beginner sketch. It helps put it out from the rest and when you see it in the future on my products you guys will know where this business started!

A Foot Foward

So this is more of a progressive statement rather than an informal post. So far I have a couple of logos that I have made using the right internet tools and now I have to prepare more steps for the future. I actually had all of these plans made for my summer for when I had more free time so I can focus on it 100%. I like that I have actually started making it this quarter. Now I have a couple of ideas set in mind for how I can start making money on my website. One website is serevi which is a local rugby company that started  in the Seattle with different professional players that sponsor both summer camp and different types of apparel. They have a franchise opportunity in which I make want to take advantage of. Also another website named WorldRugbyShop.com which is the biggest distributor of rugby apparel and accessories  has another franchising opportunity which I will become interested in. All of this would not be possible without possible investors and a distribution warehouse. Of course most of this takes time, but it's something I need to get started while I am still in school so it can be big when I am older.

Establishing a Brand Name

So I wanted this blog to help reflect my future business I will be starting over the summer and every successful business has some type of graphic image or stamp associated with it. For example what do you think of when you see a swoosh sign or an apple with a bite in it, of course nike and apple. These are the things that are such a powerful marketing tool because if you do have a successorship brand name and logo people will recognize the success. Now if you own a small business or are thinking of starting one you need to establish first what you want to do and what you want it to be called. For my business it will be called Rugby America Inc. or RA for short. When I start of thinking of a possible design the first thing I think about is the RA and how I can incorporate rugby in there someone or anything that you think will make a great media stain. When you do this you can ether take it into a graphic design company or do what I am doing and create it using the proper tools lilke Photoshop and illustrator. I will be posting my logo soon and tell me what you think!

My name is Calvin G. Nellis. A.K.A Sir Geoffrey McNelis III which is my original name of my ancestry coming from Ireland. I am currently a graphic design artist and intermediate computer programmer with alot of ideas. In the next five years I am actually going to be starting a business that deals with my favorite sport ( if you don't already know RUGBY!) by helping it establish a better reputation in the United States like it is Overseas. This Blog will include a lot of different details about me, my current business and all around personal perspective.
